Selected Games 2010

In 2010 the organizer chooses the attending games from the highest game rankings of the best-known ranking agencies such as Metacritics, Gamerankings etc. These rankings are based on the best game magazines' evaluations. This guarantees the most objective decision as to which games are to partake in the EGA in 2010.

In addition, a game:

* must have provably been developed in a European country.
* must have been released within a year before the award giving ceremony on one of the most important European games markets (England, France, Germany, Spain or Italy) or must have been released online, with exception only for the EGA Most Wanted category and the Special Prizes (Hall of Fame, Special Achievement) - here the organizer Aruba nominates the games in agreement with its media partners.
